Sacraments

RECONCILIATION: The sacrament of reconciliation (confession) is available on Saturday afternoon from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the church.   Reconciliation at other times is available by appointment.   For additional information, please contact the parish office at (408) 847-5151.

 

INFANT BAPTISM - Contact the office before or after the child's birth.   Preparation should begin at least one month prior to the desired date.   Instructions are held every 1st and 2nd Tuesday in English at 7:30 pm. Baptisms are scheduled by appointment only.

 

RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR ADULTS (RCIA) - RCIA is a process for adults and children over the age 7 years to prepare for the sacraments of initiation (Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist).   It is available for anyone interested in becoming an active member of the Church or participating in any of these sacraments.   For information, please contact Barbara Zarka at (408) 847-2652.

 

FIRST COMMUNION   -   Preparation for first Reconciliation and Communion is usually conducted for children in the second grade.   These children must receive preparation through the parish school or through regular Religious Education (CCD) classes.   For additional information, please contact Barbara Zarka at (408) 847-2652.

 

CONFIRMATION - Confirmation involves a two-year preparation for high school age candidates.   For additional information or registration forms, please contact Barbara Zarka at (408) 847-2652.

 

MARRIAGE - Bride and groom must begin preparation with a priest a minimum of six months prior to intended date of marriage.   For information, please contact the parish office at (408) 847-5151.

 

SACRAMENT OF THE SICK - To schedule an appointment to receive Eucharist for the home bound or to receive the Sacrament of the Sick, please contact the parish office at (408) 847-5151.
