Because of all the Easter Sacrament Celebrations, we’re altering our Friendship Sunday schedule. There will be no Friendship Sunday in June, because we’ll have more special events. On June 8, from 1-3, we’ll gather in the gym to say good bye to Fr Saju. Everyone is invited to share memories and wish Fr Saju well in his new assignment, St Christopher Parish. On June 22, from 1-3, we’ll gather in the gym to say good bye to Fr Francisco. Everyone is invited to share memories and wish Fr Francisco well in his new assignment, St Joseph Cathedral Basilica. |

Pentecost Sunday
Eucharistic Schedule Spring 2008 Lectors Schedule March-April-May 2008
A word from Father Francisco ( Español) Parish Retreat It’s not too early to plan for our Parish Retreat. The
dates are November 7, 8, 9 2008. Pick up a registration form in the
parish office and join us for this chance to deepen your faith and have
fun! Parish Summer Mission The Universe as Holy Ground - a retreat day on May 17, 9:30-2:30 at Notre Marriage Encounter Flowers The Easter season is winding down. The church appearance has changed. The people preparing for sacraments are celebrating those sacraments. Soon we’ll return to the calmer sense of Christ in the ordinary times, the orderly ministry of our lives. We want you to know what’s going on, in these last Easter season Masses. These Masses are different—more crowded, somewhat longer, have reserved seating—from our usual Sunday celebrations. Today, Pentecost, on May 11, our adults seeking confirmation complete their initiation. We also welcome candidates who were baptized in another faith tradition. Those Confirmation celebrations are at the 9:45 and 12 noon Masses. Note that the 11:30 Mass on May 11 will begin at noon. On May 18, Trinity Sunday, our teenagers who have been preparing for 2 years will be confirmed by Bishop McGrath at 2pm and 5pm. Note that the 5pm Sunday Mass will be a confirmation Mass, not the usual casual, family Mass. The evening Spanish Mass will begin at 7, not 6:30. Many of the Spanish masses in May celebrate first communion. It’s an exciting time, a joyous time, a time of rejoicing that our Lord Jesus Christ has been raised from the dead. Take a careful look at this Mass schedule. All are welcome to join in these celebrations, but bear in mind that these will be crowded, full Masses. They will be longer than usual and the parking lot will fill up earlier than usual. That’s the small price we pay for these joyous celebrations! |
MASS TIMES Liturgy of the Eucharist (Mass) celebrations are offered according to the following schedule: Weekday: 7:15 am & 8:30am 12:10pm (Wednesday only in Spanish) Saturday: 7:00am (English) 8:15am
